This platform is a B2B digital content marketplace used by a global news and media organization to distribute multimedia journalism at scale. It serves as a one-stop destination for text, video, photography, and audio content sourced internally and over 100 partner providers.

Designed for editorial teams and media companies, the platform enables users to discover, preview, and license high-quality content through a single subscription. Advanced search and AI-powered tooling support fast discovery, helping teams move efficiently from breaking news to archival content without disrupting workflows.

The Problem


The primary users—journalists, editors, and reporters—often work on location or while traveling. The platform was desktop-only, limiting access to time-sensitive content and slowing workflows outside the newsroom. A mobile-first experience was needed to support on-the-go discovery, previewing, and usage of media assets, without compromising platform depth or editorial trust.
